Measure, Question and Prove It on Site
A SECCOM engineer will survey a building before anyone quotes it, argue about where a cable actually runs, sit with an operator at the end of a shift to find out what the room is really like at four in the morning, and be the person who explains to a customer why the honest answer is smaller than the one they were hoping for. The site may be a GCC floor in Bengaluru or a substation two hours past the last town, and the cutover may be the one night in the month the plant is down.
There is documentation. Certification results, as-built drawings, test records, handover packs. SECCOM's whole argument to customers rests on producing those properly, so producing them properly is the job itself.
What You Will Actually Work On
Live Networks Across Nine Connected Solution Areas
Wi-Fi 6 and 6E across campuses that fill and empty twice a day. EVPN and VXLAN fabrics in data centre halls. SASE and zero trust rollouts. GPU racks sized for the power and cooling the room actually has. Managed detection running against live networks. ICCC and control room builds where the operator decides whether the room works.
Nine solution areas, and most projects touch three or four at once. You will not spend a career on one product line. SECCOM has been building India networks since 1997, so some of those sites are ones SECCOM installed a decade ago and still supports.

Certification
SECCOM backs certification, and the work gives you something to certify on. your systemss are real, the scale is real, and the exam topics are things you will have done rather than read.
