Half the rooms in most offices are booked and empty.

That is a property cost, not an AV one, and it is a number your CFO already has an opinion about. It is also the easiest thing in this category to measure, and almost nobody measures it before commissioning the next twenty rooms.

Ask SECCOM to measure your real room utilisation for four weeks before another room is built. Booked, occupied, and the gap between the two, room by room.

What you get. A utilisation figure per room, a monthly health report naming what was monitored, what failed and what was replaced, and a published acknowledgement time with the definition attached to it.

Rooms are designed to keep working alone. If a panel loses its link to the scheduling service, the room still books locally at the door and reconciles when the link returns. It does not become a locked room with a blank screen.
