The switch on the drawing and the switch that ships are different part numbers more often than anyone admits.

A design is signed, six months pass, and by the time the order is placed the SKU has changed, the transceiver is now sold separately, and the support contract was quoted against a part number that no longer exists. The device arrives, and the problem surfaces on install day.

Where SECCOM stops. Where the design is someone else's, SECCOM supplies against it and tells you in writing what it would have specified differently. It does not substitute a part number without saying so.
