The question is not whether the room has a UPS but how long it holds at today's load. The load is measured, then discharged under supervision to find out.

The question is not whether the room has a UPS. It is how long it holds at today's load, and what happens in minute thirty-one.

Control rooms grow. Two positions become six, a second wall goes in, and the UPS that was sized at handover is now carrying a load nobody recalculated. In most Indian cities the changeover to DG happens often enough that the UPS carries the room several times a month. The figure in the O&M manual and the figure on the meter are rarely the same number.

Schedule SECCOM to measure the real load in an existing control room and test the actual UPS hold time. Measured, then discharged under supervision. Most rooms have grown since the last calculation.

What you get. A measured load figure, a tested hold time at that load, a dual-path statement for power, cooling and network showing exactly which single failures the room survives, and a fallback position list: what a degraded room can still do, and from where.

Failure behaviour is stated for each path. Mains fails, the UPS carries the measured load for its tested minutes and the generator picks up within a stated time. A processing path faults, switchover holds output automatically. The primary network path drops, the secondary carries a named subset of feeds and the operator is told which ones are missing. Every one of those has a manual fallback and a contracted time to service.
